[Consultation Review]
I’ve always been told that I look too masculine because of my square jaw, hump nose, and lack of volume in my face, so I’ve been worried about it for a long time and decided to get a consultation!
I was really worried about the anesthesia, so I asked, and they told me that the clinic has anesthesiologists, so they can handle any emergency situation right away. When I asked if there would be any side effects after the surgery because I have a temporomandibular joint disorder(a.k.a.:TMJ), they said that since the surgery involves bone cutting and my TMJ problem is ligament-related, it won’t affect the surgery, so I felt relieved. (For anyone with TMJ issues wondering about surgery, the contouring doctor looked at the X-ray taken before the consultation and suggested surgery for my square jaw and chin since the shape of my chin looks more masculine than feminine!)
I also mentioned I was worried about my cheekbones, and they said my cheekbones aren’t the problem, but since I don’t have much facial fat, it makes them stand out more. They suggested fat grafting to my cheeks instead, which I agreed to! (Other clinics had suggested all 3 contouring surgeries, but I didn’t want unnecessary procedures, so I really appreciated that the doctor only suggested what was necessary.) I felt more confident because the doctor only recommended what I actually needed, so I felt more trusting. I wanted to schedule the surgery right away, but unfortunately, the appointments were all full.
As for my nose, another doctor consulted me since each specialist handles a different area. My hump nose and nasal tip were really bothering me. The doctor asked me what kind of shape I wanted, and I said I wanted a straight nose with a slightly upturned tip. The doctor suggested a straight nose with an upturned tip using cartilage from my ear, and because I had a lot of nasal base sag, they said they would perform bone cutting and remove the hump, and insert silicone. Since the surgery was going to involve several areas, I was a bit worried, but the doctor reassured me that they work with a dedicated anesthesiologist and that the surgery would be done with real-name specialists ? I’m scheduled for surgery on July 24th, and I’m super excited! I’ll be sure to share a beautiful review afterward, so please check it out!
[3 Days Post-Rhinoplasty Review]
Since I had already gotten nose fillers, I had the filler removed, and also had my nose base and bone reshaped, making the nose more lifted by about 3mm. The doctor mentioned that the filler was very compacted, so it took quite a while to remove it.
On the first day, I still looked like myself, but when I woke up, I felt like I had turned into Voldemort… The day after surgery, the doctor removed the cotton packing and applied medication again, but it was painful and swollen, and I couldn’t stop crying. I thought I’d be able to breathe better once the cotton was removed, but it was actually uncomfortable because my nose was so swollen. I truly respect those who have gone through nose surgery before. In times like these, I realized how important it is to stay focused, eat well, and take your medication. I made sure to drink plenty of water, pumpkin juice, and kept my mouth cool with ice and ice cream since my mouth kept getting dry.
Today is day three, and I just went to the clinic for a check-up! Breathing is easier, and I’m eating well! My nose looks like it’s turned out really well, but when I look in the mirror, I wonder when the swelling will go down! Right now, I feel like a dog that got stung by a bee, but I’m excited to see the final results and will continue to manage it!
[One-Week Post-Rhinoplasty Review]
Day 4: The swelling on my nose started to go down a bit, and I noticed some room around the center of the nose splint. I was actually a bit worried that my nose bridge was too high at first, but it turned out to be just swelling. There was a bit of yellow bruising around my eyes and swelling near my chin, but the swelling decreased more than I expected, and I was happy about that!
Day 5: I had a small yellow bruise on my chin, and the swelling was concentrated around my buccal fat area. Breathing was easy, but since I tend to get a lot of nasal crust, I gently cleaned it with a wet wipe and a cotton swab with a little bit of ointment, making sure to apply the medication properly!
Day 6: Personally, I only had a little swelling left on my face. I put on a hat and went outside, ate, and took a lot of walks!
Day 7: Finally!!! I went to the clinic to remove the splint! When I first saw my nose, I felt like I looked like an avatar because my expression wasn’t great, but the nurse kindly reassured me that the swelling would go down over time, and there was nothing to worry about.
After removing the stitches and splint, I noticed there was a separate skincare department, so I got a nose exfoliation and laser treatment for swelling. I had asked the doctor about taking anti-swelling medicine from the pharmacy, but the doctor said it was okay to take them, but they didn’t recommend it. Walking outside is the best remedy! ????
I think regular walks and pumpkin juice will help the swelling go down quickly. I hope everyone else finds this helpful, and I hope we all get prettier together! I’ll come back once the swelling is even more reduced!
[Two-Week Post-Rhinoplasty Review]
The biggest change compared to a week ago is that I can finally wash my hair! Before, I had to go to the salon to get my hair washed. I was told that tilting my head could cause pressure and potentially make me nosebleed, so I avoided doing it.
Also, the nose bridge that was a bit too high at first became much more natural after removing the stitches and splint. The swelling started to go down quicker, and I could feel the difference. My girlfriends immediately noticed the change, but the guys wouldn’t have known unless I mentioned it – it looks that natural! I had asked for a nose with a defined tip but a natural bridge, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
The doctor had warned me before the surgery that some swelling from the bone or hump might remain, and there was still a little bit left after the surgery. However, I actually like it because it looks more natural that way.
I really appreciated that the doctor had informed me about the possible leftover hump or bone swelling in advance, and because of that, I’m confident I’ll come back to View Plastic Surgery if I decide to do any other procedures in the future.
When I saw the doctor during my second-week checkup, they told me that the swelling around the bone cutting area is still firm but will continue to decrease with time. Even so, I still look at myself in the mirror and take pictures every day, haha.
Even though it’s just my nose that’s changed, my whole expression has transformed, and my face looks completely different! I’ve been sending daily photos to my friends and family. I’ll be back soon to share even more progress after reducing the swelling even further!
[Three-Week Post-Rhinoplasty Review]
The swelling has gone down a lot compared to week two, and I can really feel that my nose bridge has lowered significantly. However, at night, my nose still feels swollen and tight. Since I have severe rhinitis, I often get a lot of mucus, but breathing has become much easier. On the downside, I’ve been getting a lot of nasal crust, which is a bit annoying. When that happens, I gently clean the inside of my nose with wet wipes and use a cotton swab with a little lotion to moisturize and clean it, which helps.
As for the scars, they’re very subtle and almost unnoticeable unless you look very closely. Like in week two, people who are close to me can tell, but a lot of people, whether male or female, don’t recognize the change, even if they’ve known me for a long time. It’s not that I look the same as before, but the change is so natural that people don’t even notice. I’ve heard a lot of people say that I look prettier, but they can’t figure out exactly what’s different!
If you’re someone who wants a natural-looking result where only you can tell you’ve become a little prettier or you’re aiming for a change that doesn’t scream “surgery,” I would highly recommend View Plastic Surgery! ?
[One-Month Post-Rhinoplasty Review]
It’s been almost a month since my rhinoplasty! The incision scars are hardly visible now, and the traces from the ear cartilage graft are also very subtle. However, when I sleep on my side, there’s a slight discomfort, but other than that, there’s no pain or inconvenience at all.
At this point, no one really notices the change unless I mention it first, haha. I’m starting to really get used to my new nose, and it feels like a whole new experience. Before the surgery, I used to stress about my nose in photos—my front view had a lot of nose width and the side profile had a hump. But now, whether it’s a front or side view, I feel so much more confident! I love seeing the straight and defined look in my photos. Taking pictures is so much fun now!
For anyone considering surgery, I really recommend View Plastic Surgery to get beautiful results and gain that confidence you’ve always wanted! 🙂
[2 months after nose surgery review]
It’s been two months since my rhinoplasty. People I meet for the first time often compliment me, saying I look elegant! I keep hearing compliments like ‘You look sophisticated’ or ‘You have a mixed-race vibe!’
There’s still some minor swelling on my nose, but I love it so much. Even without retouching my photos, my nose looks so beautiful, and I’m really satisfied! After seeing my results, many people have started thinking about getting nose surgery themselves. I highly recommend it! However, the most important thing is to avoid being too greedy and to get a natural look that suits your face. I’m so satisfied that I would recommend it to my friends too! I hope you don’t hesitate and choose to get your nose surgery at View Plastic Surgery!

I haven’t really felt much swelling except for when my face swells up. When I went for a check-up in the middle, the doctor said my nose looked great but advised me not to smile too much! He said the stitches used to secure the nose could come loose. Since I have a habit of smiling widely, I’ve been more cautious about it, and I think it’s good advice for everyone to keep in mind!
Originally, my features were already sharp, but now they seem even more defined, and people often tell me I look beautiful! I especially love the tip of my nose. My older sister also keeps complimenting me, saying that the tip of my nose looks so naturally beautiful, and it makes me really happy! I’m also about to have contouring surgery soon, so I’m excited to see how much more beautiful I’ll look. I’ll keep sharing more updates! Thank you! ❣️
