Consultation Experience – Facial Contouring and Fat Grafting
I had heard that View Plastic Surgery was well-known for facial contouring, so I scheduled a consultation right away.
During the consultation with the coordinator, they gave me clear and practical advice without pushing unnecessary procedures, which made me trust them even more. When I met the surgeon, they thoroughly examined me, checked my X-rays, and explained everything in detail. I brought reference photos with me, and that really helped! I can’t wait for my surgery date!
Day 3 Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
It’s the third day since I had facial contouring surgery and fat grafting to my forehead and temples.
The first day was really tough — I could barely breathe and was in so much pain. But I stayed overnight in the hospital where the staff were super kind and kept checking in on me. That made me feel a lot more at ease.
By day 3, I wasn’t in much pain anymore. The hospital washed my hair and gave me aftercare. I can now open my mouth enough for a spoon, and I’m living my daily life with a mask and hat.
Can’t wait to take the tape off and see the swelling go down more!
1 Week Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
It’s now been a week since my surgery. I went to the hospital today to get my stitches removed from the forehead and sideburns area, and they also removed the facial tape. Taking off the tape felt oddly refreshing!
My face definitely looks slimmer and smaller now, which made me so happy. There’s still swelling, but I’m keeping up with ice packs and massages. I really want to see how I look once the swelling is all gone.
2 Weeks Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
It’s been two weeks! It feels crazy how fast time flies. Most of the swelling in my cheekbones is gone, although my cheeks and under the chin are still puffy. I also had forehead fat grafting, which really helped with my side profile whether my hair is tied up or down.
I had my inner stitches removed today — they used a numbing rinse so it wasn’t as painful as I expected. I was so nervous after reading other people’s reviews, but it was manageable. I hope the remaining swelling goes down soon so I can start taking selfies again!
3 Weeks Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
It’s now been three weeks since my facial contouring and fat grafting surgery. The pain is mostly gone, except when I touch my chin or cheeks. I can eat comfortably now, though I can only open my mouth about two fingers wide.
Most of the facial numbness is gone, but there’s still some swelling in my lower cheeks and chin.
What I thought was a double chin before turned out to be swelling!
I’m able to wear makeup again with no issue, and the scars near my sideburns are fading nicely.
1 Month Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
It’s been one month since my facial contouring and forehead fat grafting. Most of the swelling is gone now, and I have no bruising at all. The scar near my sideburns are barely visible thanks to my hair. I can open my mouth with no issue, and I’m fully back to normal life! I’m loving putting on makeup again, and the best part is that I don’t even need to use face-slimming filters for photos anymore. The forehead fat grafting really improved how I look with my up-ponytails! I’m super satisfied 🙂
2 Month Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
It’s already been two months! Compared to the one-month mark, my face looks much more defined. There’s still a little swelling under my chin though.
I had some pain near the right cheekbone, but the pills the hospital gave me helped. I can open my mouth just like before, and overall I feel great. Just waiting for that last bit of swelling to go down!
3 Month Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
Three months in, and I can finally see the remaining swelling going down. My face shape looks much more contoured now.
I also had a second fat graft to my forehead, and the volume looks perfect — exactly what I wanted.
There’s no more pain, and the scars are well-hidden. I’m happy with how I look even using the Iphone camera with no filters! So glad I got the second round of grafting.
4 Month Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
Four months already! I think almost all the swelling is gone now. I honestly can’t remember what my face looked like before surgery, haha. I always tie my hair super high now and I barely edit my selfies with photoshop. I’m so satisfied with my results — if I had to go back in time, I’d still go through with it despite the pain. It was so much worth it!
5 Month Post-op – Facial Contouring + Fat Grafting
Time flies — it’s been 5 months! I barely even remember the waiting and recovery phase now. My surgical results feel like my “born-to-be” face at this point. I used to hate how I looked from lower angles, but now I love my new V-line. Even though they say swelling can last up to a year, I’m already happy with how I look now!
