Consultation Review
The consultation was held in the following order: rhinoplasty, face contouring, and fat grafting. The doctor specializing in face contouring was especially kind and decided to refine the overall angles of my face, addressing the areas I had concerns about. We chose to proceed with three procedures, including slightly advancing the chin. For the fat grafting, fat will be extracted from my thighs and injected into my forehead and nasolabial folds. It seems like the surgery will be carried out exactly as I wanted, with the targeted areas and approach, which makes me even more excited. Both doctors were very generous with their time, giving me ample opportunity to ask all the questions I had. I left the consultation feeling that it was time well spent, with no regrets!
Day 3 Review of Rhinoplasty, Face Contouring, and Fat Grafting
My gums are swollen and there's a slight throbbing sensation. I had trouble sleeping, so I went for a walk early in the morning. I’ve heard that the third day has the most swelling, so I wanted to do whatever I could to prevent it. Walking in the cold air seemed to provide temporary relief! When I woke up and checked my face, the swelling was... quite noticeable, haha! Hopefully, it will start to improve from tomorrow.
7-Day Review of Rhinoplasty, Face Contouring, and Fat Grafting
After the stitch removal, the doctor showed me the mirror, and I noticed that my nose now resembles the Eiffel Tower! ? My nasal bridge, which was previously nonexistent, now has some height, and the tip of my nose has lifted, making the side profile look great. My side profile used to be flat, so I always tried to hide it with my hair, but now I’m excited to leave it uncovered! I had asked the doctor to create a natural line that suits me, and he truly did so, making it look very natural. ?? Surprisingly, the area where the fat was extracted from is more painful than expected, and it’s been a bit bothersome. My thighs are bruised and swollen, and they’re quite sore. I’ve been applying bruise cream generously to help with the healing.
2 week Review of Rhinoplasty, Face Contouring, and Fat Grafting
The right side of my jaw is still quite swollen, while the left side has seen a reduction in swelling, making the asymmetry noticeable. Even though it’s uneven, I feel relieved that there’s progress. I’m really happy to see the line starting to appear on the left side of my face. It seems like the doctor has shaped it naturally and smoothly. ? By the afternoon, the side with more swelling began to throb slightly and feel warm. Even though it’s the second week, the swelling still seems quite pronounced, which is a bit disappointing, but I guess it's just my body’s tendency to swell easily. ? Hopefully, I’ll see more improvement next week.
3 weeks Review of Rhinoplasty, Face Contouring, and Fat Grafting
A few days ago, I received compliments from an acquaintance after I shared that I had undergone surgery. ? They expected it to look artificial or overdone, but they were surprised at how naturally beautiful the results turned out. This person had always been strongly opposed to me getting plastic surgery, so I feel incredibly proud! ? My nose is rapidly reducing in swelling, almost to the point of being surprising. It keeps getting smaller and smoother. I had mentioned before that I was concerned about my strong facial features, but it seems like the doctor paid special attention to that. ? As for my jaw, it’s become a bit easier to move my mouth. I can still only open it wide enough to fit one finger, but the stiffness has decreased significantly! My chewing strength has also improved a lot, so I’ve been eating soft foods and gradually transitioning to regular meals.
1-Month Review of Rhinoplasty, Face Contouring, and Fat Grafting
I’ve heard that swelling usually decreases significantly after a month, and I’ve noticed rapid improvement over the past few days. Now, the swelling seems to fluctuate between the large and small swelling stages. ? I initially only expected to refine my lines, but it seems like my face has become a bit smaller as well! Interestingly, my facial features appear more defined. The added volume in my forehead has given my face more dimension, and overall, my expression seems much softer. I feel like my image has improved a lot. I'm glad I decided to fill in the fat during the early stages as it has naturally absorbed over time, leaving a perfectly balanced result. It’s amazing how the doctor accounted for all of this! I’m very satisfied with the external results! ? However, my mouth still doesn’t open fully, so eating is a bit challenging, haha.
2-Months Review of Rhinoplasty, Face Contouring, and Fat Grafting
I’ve been having such happy days since the surgery, but unfortunately, I accidentally bumped my nose. The sudden sharp pain was overwhelming. From the next day, swelling and a throbbing sensation persisted throughout the day, which became increasingly worrisome. When I explained the situation, the hospital quickly scheduled an appointment for me. As soon as I arrived, they performed a CT scan, and even though everyone was busy, they took great care to ensure everything was handled properly. After that, I moved to the consultation room, and the moment I saw the doctor, I couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty... Although it was an unscheduled visit, I’m so grateful that they took enough time to thoroughly check the situation. On my way home, I couldn’t stop thinking about how I’d chosen the right hospital. I feel like I trust View Plastic Surgery even more now.
The overall swelling has decreased significantly, and I can see more noticeable changes week by week. The numbness on the area above my lip is improving quickly. It doesn’t feel stiff or painful, so I think it’s healing well. There are moments when I’m surprised by how little my mouth opens after not using it much, but I guess that’s part of the recovery. It’s a bit tricky trying to eat naturally around others, but I guess I’ll need to keep doing mouth exercises to help with that.
3-Months Review of Face Contouring Surgery and Rhinoplasty Revision
It’s been three months since my facial surgery, and I can definitely feel that my face shape is finally coming together! The swelling has been steadily decreasing, so I realized there was no need to rush or worry from the beginning. ? Before the surgery, I lacked confidence in my facial shape and had developed the habit of hiding it with masks or my hair. Now, I find it hard to hide my face because it’s so much better! ? I visited the hospital for a follow-up, and the doctors compared my before-and-after photos... I was thrilled to see such a dramatic difference. ? The areas where fat grafting was done have fully integrated, and the doctor confirmed that the results are final. It seems like the fat has settled in naturally without any further reduction, and I’m really happy with how it looks! My facial bones are also healing well, and while the swelling has reduced quickly, the doctor mentioned it may continue to subside a little more. I already felt like I was recovering well, and the test results confirmed this, which was very reassuring.☺️ The scars seem to be gradually fading, and except for a small area on my upper lip, most of my sensation has returned, so I haven’t experienced any discomfort in my daily life. I’m expecting that I’ll be able to see the final result in about a month! ♡
