Pre-Surgery Consultation Review: Choosing a Trusted Rhinoplasty Clinic in Korea
My nose bridge was quite low, and I also had a bulbous nasal tip, which had caused me a lot of stress for a long time. That’s why I finally decided to look into rhinoplasty in Korea, and after researching several plastic surgery clinics in Seoul and going through multiple consultations, I found it surprisingly hard to find a place where I really connected with the consultation atmosphere and the way things were explained.
View Plastic Surgery was different from the very first visit — the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which left a great first impression. The wait time was short, and the entire consultation process felt genuinely systematic and well-organized, which is something I really valued when choosing a Korean rhinoplasty clinic. What stood out most was that the head counselor never pushed me toward surgery. Instead, she honestly explained what was realistically achievable and what wasn’t, which made me trust the clinic even more. The whole consultation felt comfortable rather than pressured — something I think matters a lot for anyone considering plastic surgery in Korea.
During my one-on-one consultation with the surgeon, he examined my nose and immediately gave me specific, honest recommendations — which materials would work best for my nose shape and how much improvement I could realistically expect. There was no exaggeration, just straightforward professional advice that made me feel like I was in safe hands. I also appreciated that the clinic operates a no-proxy-surgery policy, meaning the doctor I consulted with was the same surgeon who performed my procedure — something every foreign patient researching rhinoplasty in Korea should ask about.
As someone who compared several hospitals before deciding, I can honestly say this was the most realistic and comfortable consultation experience I’ve had — I felt satisfied with just the consultation alone. Of course, the exact cost of rhinoplasty in Korea varies quite a bit depending on the patient’s nasal structure, the surgical method used (such as cartilage grafting), and the extent of correction needed, so I’d recommend getting a personalized consultation rather than relying on a fixed price. If you’ve been struggling with nose concerns like I was, I really think it’s worth booking a consultation to see what’s possible 🙂

Day 3 After Rhinoplasty in Korea: Swelling and Early Recovery
On the first day, I barely had any swelling, so I thought, “Oh, this isn’t bad at all!” But starting from day two, the area around my eyes swelled up quite a bit, which surprised me a little. Especially in the mornings, my eyes felt heavy from the swelling, but it wasn’t painful or particularly difficult to manage.
I made sure to take my medication exactly as prescribed by the clinic and did cold compresses diligently, which really helped with the recovery process. Aside from feeling a bit stuffy from the nasal packing, everything else was manageable 🙂
And finally, the nasal packing came out… it hurt a little when it was removed and I actually teared up, but once it was out, I felt so relieved and refreshed — I didn’t realize breathing could feel this comfortable! There’s still some swelling, but with consistent aftercare, I can already tell my nose is going to look more natural and refined over time, so I’m genuinely enjoying watching the day-by-day changes 🫶🏻
One Week After Rhinoplasty in Korea: Stitches Removed, Visible Improvement
The swelling was at its worst on days two and three, especially around my eyes, which had me a little worried. But after a week, the swelling has been steadily going down and the difference is really visible now! There’s still some minor residual swelling, but it already looks much more natural compared to the early days.
Having the splint and the sutures near the columella removed felt incredibly refreshing. My nose tip still feels firm, and my new, higher nose bridge still feels a bit unfamiliar, but I keep getting used to it every time I look in the mirror, and my satisfaction keeps increasing.
The pain was almost completely gone after day three, with just occasional mild throbbing. It hasn’t affected my daily life at all!
The scarring is much less noticeable than I expected — just a slight redness — so I’ve been applying the ointment consistently as instructed. The rib cartilage donor site is also scabbing over and healing with new skin, so I expect the mark to fade further over time. My nose still hasn’t fully de-swollen, but I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more natural it becomes 😍

Two Weeks Post-Op: Follow-Up Check-Up and Steady Healing
Today marks two weeks since my surgery, and I visited the clinic for a follow-up check-up with the surgeon!
The surgeon told me my recovery is progressing well and that everything looks great so far, which really put my mind at ease. I also appreciate that this clinic has a structured follow-up care system, so I never feel like I’m recovering on my own.
And today, they finally removed all the remaining internal stitches inside my nose! It already felt good when the external stitches were removed, but having the internal ones taken out too made everything feel so much more comfortable.
My nose tip still feels a little firm, but it barely affects my daily life anymore, and I’m getting more used to it every day. The only minor inconvenience is that I wear glasses due to poor eyesight, so the part that rests on my nose bridge is something I’m a bit conscious of 😭 — but it’s nothing majorly uncomfortable.
The swelling has gone down a lot compared to the beginning, and the overall nose line is looking more and more natural, so my satisfaction keeps climbing every time I check the mirror. I understand that swelling after rhinoplasty in Korea typically takes around six months to fully subside, so I’m curious to see how my nose shape settles as the remaining swelling goes down. I’m already happy with how it looks now, so I can’t wait to see even more improvement 😊
Three Weeks After Nose Job Korea: Minimal Pain, Natural Results Emerging
It’s already been three weeks since my surgery! The swelling keeps going down as time passes, and I can really feel my overall nose line becoming more defined. It looks much more natural compared to the early days, and my nose tip is gradually settling into shape, so my satisfaction keeps rising every time I look in the mirror. The swelling still hasn’t completely disappeared, but I can definitely feel the changes! There’s almost no pain at this point, and it doesn’t interfere with my daily life at all! Occasionally I feel a very subtle discomfort around the costal cartilage area, but it’s not something that bothers me.
I’m still gently handling my nose when washing my face. As for scarring, there’s still a slight redness around the columella area, but the mark itself isn’t very noticeable 👍🏻 For the rib cartilage donor site, I’ve been consistently applying scar cream, and it’s noticeably lighter compared to the first week 😊 Overall, the swelling, pain, and scarring are all recovering steadily, so I honestly can’t wait to take a ton of photos!

One Month After Rhinoplasty in Seoul: Bulbous Nose Fully Improved
It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since my surgery 😊 I visited the clinic today for another follow-up check-up, and the surgeon confirmed that my recovery is progressing well, which was such a relief to hear.
As time goes on, the swelling keeps going down, and my nose line is looking clearer and more natural every day. My bulbous nose tip has really improved, and I’m so happy about it 🥹 There’s basically no pain at this point, and even the area where the rib cartilage was harvested has healed to the point where it doesn’t affect my daily life at all anymore!
The discomfort I used to feel when moving is completely gone now, so there’s no issue with everyday activities.
As for scarring, the columella area only shows a very faint redness when you look closely, and from a distance it’s barely noticeable at all. The rib cartilage donor site is also fading nicely, thanks to consistently applying scar cream, so it’s healing beautifully. People around me keep telling me my rhinoplasty results look great, and even my friends have said they want a nose job after seeing mine! They also say it looks really natural on me, which makes me so happy 🙂 I’m already very satisfied with the results, but I know it’ll look even better once the remaining swelling goes down completely 😇❤️

Two Months Post-Rhinoplasty: Natural-Looking Nose Line Settling In
It’s already been two months! Starting from the two-month mark, I can really notice the swelling going down day by day. Every time I look in the mirror, I’m more satisfied with how naturally my nose line is settling into place. In particular, my bulbous nose tip has improved so much, which makes me even happier with the results. Whenever I get my hair or makeup done, the stylists always compliment how pretty my nose line looks, which honestly makes me feel proud.
There’s almost no pain anymore, and my nose feels softer and more natural day by day, so it doesn’t affect my daily life at all. I can wash my face and do my makeup without any concerns. The scar under my nose has become nearly invisible thanks to consistently applying ointment before bed, and for the rib cartilage donor site, I’m now more focused on managing the bandage marks than the scar itself. Overall, everything keeps settling more naturally as time passes, and I’m really satisfied with my results!

Three Months After Korean Rhinoplasty: Final Results and Full Confidence
Time really flies — it’s already been three months! By the three-month mark, the swelling has gone down a lot and my nose looks so much more natural. People I’ve recently met assume this is just how my nose has always looked!
There’s absolutely no pain at this point, the scars have become much smaller, and they’re healing beautifully. Even the area under my nose is now completely unnoticeable. So many people around me have complimented how pretty it looks, which has really boosted my confidence. Now I happily take photos from every angle, including side profiles, without any hesitation! No side effects at all, and overall, I couldn’t be more satisfied with my rhinoplasty results in Korea ☺️
