The necessity of Breast Examinations
before and after Breast Surgery!

Breast examinations before and after breast surgery are conducted to identify any existing breast conditions and
provide appropriate treatment before surgery if necessary.
After surgery, ultrasound examination is used to thoroughly assess the upper, lower, left,
and right areas surrounding the implant, accurately evaluating its position and condition.
These examinations also help prevent and detect complications such as implant rupture or seroma at an early stage,
allowing for prompt treatment when needed.

Breast Tissue Diagnosis and Treatment,
with Mammotome

The Mammotome procedure is performed when abnormalities are detected through mammography or breast ultrasound.
It is a vacuum-assisted biopsy and excision device that allows for simultaneous diagnosis and treatment,
removing benign tumors without surgery. Using ultrasound guidance, a small incision of 3-5mm is made,
and a needle is inserted to extract tissue through vacuum suction.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia in an outpatient setting, enabling patients to return home immediately after.
Post-procedure, there is minimal scarring.

Breast Ultrasound
Examination

We examine for breast cancer and suspicious breast lesions

smallest lumps. After surgery, we monitor for implant rupture,
capsular contracture, and inflammation, and provide a regular
follow-up system for ongoing care.

Digital Breast Imaging

This is a fundamental diagnostic tool for all breast conditions
and is particularly important for screening asymptomatic women
for breast cancer. Even in cases of dense breasts, which have
a relatively higher risk of breast cancer, digital breast imaging
enables more accurate diagnostics.

Mammotome procedure

Biopsy and Mammotome
Procedure

Following an ultrasound examination, a biopsy is performed if
necessary to thoroughly assess breast lesions. Lesions requiring
removal are addressed using the Mammotome procedure, which
minimizes tissue damage. Even with implants in place, the procedure
is conducted by experienced medical professionals without
affecting the implants.

Early diagnosis of Breast cancer

Early Detection of
Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, and
early detection significantly increases the chances of a full recovery.
Women over 40 years old are recommended to undergo annual
breast cancer screenings, while women in their 30s experiencing
symptoms such as breast pain or nipple discharge should consult
with a surgical specialist for evaluation.

Precise Examination of Implants
after Breast Augmentation

Using ultrasound examination, we carefully evaluate all areas surrounding
the implant to accurately assess its position and condition for safe and reliable postoperative care.

through Breast Ultrasound

Through ultrasound, we examine the position, rupture, capsular contracture, capsule thickness, and the cause of swelling around the implant.
At VIEW Plastic Surgery, a dedicated examination center is operated, where specialist surgeons provide direct consultations.
