Caution before the surgery

Medication

Do not take drugs inhibiting hemostasis (contraceptive drug, hormone drug, vitamin E, aspirin, etc.) for 1 week before the surgery and please tell us in advance if you are being treated for hypertension, heart disease, diabetes and thyroid.

Smoking and drinking

It is good to quit smoking for 2 weeks before the surgery because the stimulatory substances in cigarettes cause sputum or sneezing and bleeding after the surgery.
In addition, please tell us in advance if you have caught a severe cold on the day of surgery because it may indicate abnormal respiratory tract or organs.

Food intake

You are prohibited from eating any food from 4 hours before the surgery for sedation anesthesia and 8 hours before the surgery for general anesthesia.

Clothes

Prepare simple clothes that is easy to take off and do not irritate the operation wound.
It is good to prepare a shirt or scoop neck T-shirt that does not touch the face.

Others

It is good to have a light bath and wash your hair one day before the surgery.
Clean and brush your teeth thoroughly on the day of the surgery, remove all nail polishes and do not wear contact lenses and accessories.
