Caution before the surgery

Do not take drugs inhibiting hemostasis (contraceptive drug, hormone drug, vitamin E, aspirin, etc.) for 1 week prior to the surgery and please tell us in advance if you are being treated for hypertension, heart disease, diabetes or thyroid.

It is good to quit smoking, 2 weeks before the surgery because the stimulatory substances in cigarettes cause sputum, sneezing and bleeding after the surgery.
In addition, please tell us in advance if you have caught a severe cold on the day of surgery because it may indicate abnormal respiratory tract or organs.

You are prohibited from eating any food 4 hours prior to the eye surgery.

Prepare simple clothes that is easy to take off and do not irritate the operation wound.
It is good to prepare a shirt or scoop neck T-shirt that does not touch the face.

It is good to have a light bath and wash your hair one day before the surgery.
Clean and brush your teeth thoroughly on the day of the surgery, remove all nail polishes and do not wear contact lenses and accessories.

Take the medicine prescribed by the clinic on time and do not take drugs like aspirin or hormone drugs.

It is good to stop smoking and drinking for 4 weeks after the surgery for fast recovery.

You can wash your face with water from the day after the stitch removal and take a light shower but do not take a bath.

It is good to apply cold pack for the first 3 days and hot pack afterwards.
Swelling is quickly reduced if you keep your head above your heart for 2 to 3 days and limiting water intake before sleeping helps to control the swelling.
Please wait patiently because the time it takes for bruises or swelling to disappear varies by patient.
