~Hi guys, I’m Vava!~
So today I’ll be introducing my experience having plastic surgery in Korea.
These are pictures of my original face shape
As can be clearly seen, I wanted my face to look more feminine, soft, and cute like Korean girls. And since a lot of beauty bloggers also have their face done here, I decided to have mine done in View Plastic Surgery too!!
ON THE DAY OF CONSULTATION WITH DOCTOR,
Ct-scan, blood test, EKG test, before medical photo was taken prior for the doctor to analyze and recommend what procedures were necessary for me. My surgeon was specialized in various procedures like facial contour, eyes, nose, fat grafting and he’s solely performing all of it.
These are the list of procedures I had.
Double Eyelid Surgery (Ptosis correction)
Paranasal silicone implant (nasolabial folds)
MY SURGERY WAS DUE 10AM ON THE 4TH OF MAY, 2019.
Fasting 8 hours prior to surgery was necessary, so I started fasting (water & food) at 1am. On the day of surgery, it was good I got to meet my surgeon once and he would draw marks on my face to summarize the procedures
AFTER THE SURGERY,
The nurse won’t let me fall asleep, so I had to force myself to stay awake. My nose was stuffed up and my mouth felt dry. The coordinator informed me I could drink water only 3 hours later. Honestly, I remembered counting down time.
One hospitalization day medications, saline water, and ointment was provided by the hospital and I was required to take pills three times a day (morning, afternoon, evening after meal).
1st-3rd day after Surgery
1-3 days after surgery, there wasn’t any major pain except slight discomfort since I could not see things clearly. And of course, facial band is required for those who did facial contouring during the first three days. It feels a little uncomfortable, especially when having porridge so I mostly reached out for milk and jelly instead. I recommend black bean milk, soy milk, and coconut water.
This is me with facial band
Got to remove face tapes and bandages and sanitize my wounds. Also, I received professional hair wash as a free service! It felt really good everyone!! All the nurses were really nice and gentle. Although facial bandage isn’t required to wear during the day anymore, it is still necessary to have it on at night.
I felt normal. I noticed that the swelling was worst on Day 4 and today it’s starting to subside. Swelling did not bother me too much and I’m sure everyone knows that it takes time especially with the facial contouring.
Things started to appear clearer. There were little bruises green and purple around my eyes.
Finally, removed my nose splint! I felt so much better. However, when I had to remove cotton balls inside my nose I felt a tingling sensation. The swelling was not severe in my case.
Swelling has gone down sooooo much from having multiple deswelling LED light treatments.
AND HERE COMES LONG-AWAITED RESULT!!!! LET’S LOOK AT HOW MUCH HAS CHANGED AFTER 1 MONTH OF SURGERY!
There’s a little bit of swelling around cheeks and tightness around mouth, but I know that it all takes time. Bruises around have improved so much. It used to appear greenish and purple, but now it’s yellowish.
As I mentioned, there’s some discomfort during the first 3-5 days of surgery because your vision is blurry and aside from having minor difficulty having meal and medication, it all just takes one week to go on with your daily routine. I didn’t feel any pain at all, I just had to eat, take pills regularly according to doctor’s instructions.
Frankly, I feel very happy with the decision I made this time because it changed a lot of things. It’s not only about my appearance, but it strongly pulled out my confidence. People around me gave me compliments on how beautiful I look, how much I transformed, how I looked like a doll. These words encourage me, and I AM VERY HAPPY!!
I am attaching more photos because I am now, beautiful xx
